1. The Allergen Guide is an independent editorial and informational resource. Our restaurant reviews, ratings, awards, guides, and other content reflect experiences, observations, and information available to us at the time of evaluation.
2. Restaurants may change their menus, ingredients, recipes, suppliers, equipment, preparation methods, staff, policies, or allergen-handling procedures at any time and without notice to The Allergen Guide.
3. Information provided by restaurants, their employees, or other sources may be incomplete, inaccurate, or subject to change. The Allergen Guide cannot independently verify every ingredient, preparation method, kitchen procedure, or statement made by restaurant personnel.
4. Food allergies and sensitivities vary by individual, and experiences may differ between restaurants, locations, employees, visits, and circumstances.
5. Cross-contact with allergens may occur even when a restaurant has procedures intended to reduce that risk.
6. A rating, recommendation, award, badge, score, or other recognition from The Allergen Guide does not constitute a certification or a representation that a restaurant, kitchen, or menu item is “allergen-free” or “safe.” It also does not guarantee that an allergic reaction or cross-contact will not occur.
7. The information provided by The Allergen Guide is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical guidance or for your own evaluation of whether a restaurant or food is appropriate for your circumstances.
8. Individuals with food allergies should always communicate their specific allergies and requirements directly to restaurant staff before ordering or consuming food. You are responsible for making your own dining decisions based on your individual circumstances and the information provided directly by the restaurant at the time of your visit.
